A Heavenly Reunion: Reflections on Love, Loss, and Redemption
Last night, I experienced a dream that unfolded like a gripping thriller movie, complete with an emotionally charged climax. In this dream, I found myself in a mysterious lobby, a waiting area on the threshold between the realms of Heaven and Hell. Behind one door loomed a staircase leading downwards to Hell, a sight I dared not even glance at. Instead, I instinctively chose the door that promised ascent, the door to Heaven. Yet, strangely, the stairs behind it descended. Undeterred, I pushed open the door and began my descent. With each level I descended, passing through successive doors, I became aware of two guardians trailing me, brandishing coat hangers…

The Christian Testimony of Nabeel Qureshi
This is an older video on YouTube, and Dr. Nabeel Qureshi has since gone to be with the Lord, but I recently discovered this channel and this video. His story is a lot like mine except he has way more degrees than I do and I converted from atheism instead of Islam. What was similar is that we were debating with someone about Christianity and questioning world views, went off to research and learn more about it, and eventually found and accepted the truth. “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks…

Genesis 1:6-8
6 Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” 7 Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so. 8 And God called the firmament Heaven. So the evening and the morning were the second day. On the second day, God separated the waters upon the earth and created the atmosphere and the ozone. There is still no land, so it’s just one big ocean covering the entire globe. It’s interesting to note that there is enough water,…

Genesis 1:2-5
2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. 3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day. It is interesting to note that the first thing God created right after creating time, space, and the earth was something to keep track of what day it…

Genesis 1:1
The first book in the Bible; the word genesis means beginning, and the book of Genesis is in the beginning of the Bible and talks about our beginning. It is not just the beginning of Jewish people and the genealogy of Jesus, and it is not even just about the beginning of human history, but it tells us about the beginning of time itself. “…the High and Lofty One who inhabits eternity…” — Isaiah 57:15 God lives outside of time, in eternity, nobody created God, He has always been and will always be, He just is. From eternity, He create time and space, He created the beginning. He created time…

Genesis
This is the most important book in the Bible, it tells us where we came from, who we are, where we are going, why we need a Savior and who is going to save us. It is the foundation to all the other books of the Bible and the foundation to our faith in Jesus. This first book of the Bible tells us that we were created in the image of God, we were created and gifted with the ability to choose. We can choose to listen to and follow Him or we can choose to follow our own desires. Adam, the first man, chose to follow his desires and…

Philippian 4:14-23
14 Nevertheless you have done well that you shared in my distress. 15 Now you Philippians know also that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me concerning giving and receiving but you only. 16 For even in Thessalonica you sent aid once and again for my necessities. 17 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account. 18 Indeed I have all and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things sent from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God. 19 And my God shall supply all your…

Philippians 4:8-13
8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things. 9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you. If you are constantly thinking on and thinking about good things then it will come out in whatever you do. If you thoughts are always on pure things, always on love and praiseworthy things, then it will show in what you do…

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. — Jeremiah 29:11
God only has good thoughts toward me, even though it may seems bad now, like going through financial or health problems, God only has thoughts of good and hope for me. Reach out to Him, believe in and rely on Him and He will bless you with abundant life. Read the entire chapter here.

Is Evil From God?
Looking at the world and seeing all this sickness and suffering, one has to question where all this evil comes from. From a Christian’s point of view, God created the world and everything in it. So, did God create evil as well? 17 Then to Adam He said, “Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat of it’: “Cursed is the ground for your sake; In toil you shall eat of it All the days of your life. 18 Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you, And you shall eat…
