    Asking for Forgiveness

    Here’s my take on it. “He saved us” (Titus 3:5) and “forgiven us all trespasses” (Colossians 2:13).  It is in the past tense, Jesus said, “It is finished!” (John 19:30), so it is done and over unless you want to call Him a liar.  So, not only are past sins forgiven, present and future sin as well, we don’t have to do anything else, any more work, and He doesn’t have to die again for us to be really saved.  We can’t do anything anyway, because it is “not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us.” (Titus 3:5) Why then does…

    Missionaries

    What is a missionary? And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”  (Mark 16:15) Jesus commanded His disciples to go and tell the whole world of the great news of His resurrection, that is why christians go to remote parts of the world to spread the word.  Some of us do not feel called to go to other countries, fortunately, there a need for mission work wherever you are, in your very home town.  For me, I am hoping this blog will serve that purpose in the cyber world.     Born Again

    Why do I call myself a born again Christian? Because my new life in Christ is completely different from how I used to live. Before I accepted Jesus in my life, I used to live just for myself and my wants. I drove a red Mustang Cobra convertible as a status symbol, I would go to Las Vegas and spend hundreds on gambling, drinking, and strip clubs. You know, the things that are addictive, sinful, and immoral, the things that satisfy you in the moment but then makes you feel horrible the next days/weeks/months.
