Heaven Bound

Do you know if you are going to Heaven?  Not just think you are but know you are?

The answer is simple, do you believe and accept that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins and rose from grave giving you new life?  It’s simple because it is only a yes or no question, you either believe and accept the gift or you don’t, there is no middle ground.  If you’re thinking about it and saying, “maybe”, that’s still not a yes, but hopefully, you’re are seeking the Truth. We pray that you will find it.

The Bible teaches:

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, (Romans 3:23)

For the wages of sin is death, but the gracious gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; (Romans 10:9)

for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. (Romans 10:10)

for “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:13)

What Now?

If you want to accept Jesus into your heart, to have a personal relationship with Him, and to have the assurance of your heavenly destination, here is a prayer that you can say right now.

Heavenly Father, I know that I am a sinner and I ask You for Your forgiveness.  I thank You, Lord, for Your promise to forgive me and cleanse me from my sins if I confess them.  I want to turn from my sins and I ask You to give me the strength and the power in Your Holy Spirit to live a life that pleases You.

Thank you for sending Your Son to die on the cross for my sins and I believe that He rose from the dead and is alive.  I invite Jesus into my heart and to be the Lord of my life.  Thank you for giving me a new life in Christ.  Help me to do Your will for the rest of my life.  In Jesus’ name.  Amen.

If you have accepted Jesus as your Savior then your answer to the first question above is a definite YES!
