Philippians 1:27-30
27 Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel,
We are not only to speak “Christianese,” we should be living a life that reflects Christ. Jesus loves everyone and we are told to love your neighbor as yourself. And it doesn’t matter who is watching or not, we should strive to be living epistles for the Gospel.
28 and not in any way terrified by your adversaries, which is to them a proof of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that from God. 29 For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake, 30 having the same conflict which you saw in me and now hear is in me.
Because of the hope we have in Christ and His salvation, we have nothing to fear from the enemy, that is, the Devil, he may throw all kinds of difficulties and obstacles at you, but you can rest assured that God is on your side and that He will not let you suffer from what you can not handle. Standing strong in hard times and still conducting yourself worthy of the gospel, you will be a witness to this world.
