A Heavenly Reunion: Reflections on Love, Loss, and Redemption
Last night, I experienced a dream that unfolded like a gripping thriller movie, complete with an emotionally charged climax. In this dream, I found myself in a mysterious lobby, a waiting area on the threshold between the realms of Heaven and Hell. (Acts 16:16-34) This was the beginning of the Philippian church, they only got stronger. They have sent Paul money to help in his ministry and knowing that Paul was in prison in Rome, they sent a brother in Christ…

The Rich and the Rich Poor
Let the lowly brother glory in his exaltation, but the rich in his humiliation, because as a flower of the field he will pass away. For no sooner has the sun risen with a burning heat than it withers the grass; its flower falls, and its beautiful appearance perishes. So the rich man also will fade away in his pursuits. James 1:9-11 The rich is of course the wealthy, the ones who have a lot of money. They may have inherited it, saved it, earned it, maybe even won it, but they have a lot of it. Does that mean they have a lot of happiness? Possibly, it all depends…
